Clearinghouse Connection
This monthly newsletter provides information on upcoming conferences, policy initiatives, and funding opportunities. It is designed to keep even the busiest individuals abreast of new developments in the movement to end hunger and poverty.
The purpose of the Clearinghouse Connection is two-fold: 1) to keep NHC Database members updated on issues that are of importance to them, and 2) to have a tangible, interactive medium through which NHC Database members feel their connection to our national network. Many editions of Clearinghouse Connection include an article featuring the work of a NHC Database member, and some include solicitations for feedback on specific issues. Depending on the issue, that feedback will influence WHY policy measures, NHC communication with the USDA, and other programmatic functions.
