Model to Model Dialogues: Spotlight on Seed Saving
More Seed Saving
Many local groups are working together to save their indigenous seeds and to share them with others. These local seed saving and seed sharing efforts provide a means by which farmers can preserve traditional varieties, escape dependence on agribusiness corporations, and increase food security.
As a part of the Reinvesting in America Program's identification of organizations which create self-reliance, economic justice and food security, this feature is designed to highlight some of the most effective seed saving efforts around the world.
