Model to Model Dialogues: Spotlight on Seed Saving
Many local groups are working together to save their indigenous seeds and to share them with others. These local seed saving and seed sharing efforts provide a means by which farmers can preserve traditional varieties, escape dependence on agribusiness corporations, and increase food security.
As a part of the Reinvesting in America Program's identification of organizations which create self-reliance, economic justice and food security, this feature is designed to highlight some of the most effective seed saving efforts around the world.
